The District has prepared a Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (DPEIR). You may use the links below to download the component parts of the DPEIR. On August 12, 2015, the Board of Trustees released this document for public and agency review and comment.
Three meetings were held to receive public comment and comments were also accepted by email and letter. The comment period closed on Friday October 2nd 2015, and the District is now in the process of preparing responses to the fifteen comment letters received. In preparing responses to comments, staff and consultants will conduct additional research and prepare material that may clarify, supplement, or modify portions of the Draft PEIR. Assuming the DPEIR does not need to be recirculated for additional public review, the draft Final PEIR may be presented to the Board for review in February 2016. Responsible agencies (and other commenters) will be provided with the responses to their comments at least 10 days prior to the Board meeting at which certification of the PEIR will be considered.
